what went right and what went wrong
the right: managed to make part of what I wanted to make using the tools i had at my disposal basically an auto-chess RTS game where you could watch two armies slug it out and eventually win or lose.
the wrong: it was too fast and too chaotic I got the core of the game down but i the GAME part was not fun since it just got boring after awhile either due to imbalance (flame guy 1hit KO the dudes, horses just useless among other things). you didn't know what was going on and everything just moved too fast to really get you to react fast enough. also the whole thing got corrupted.
How do I fix this?
the fix is pretty simple (I hope) and its to basically take the original image and center it around a LoL/Dota style minion brawler with lane based combat but only minions and a jungle where rally point units can go and fight for objectives. Now thats the identity taken care of some core issues regarding A.I pathing and walls are still being addressed and the game is also being built from the ground up again.
