Nine Months And This Is What Ive Got To Show???
!!WARNING LOTS OF RAMBLING!!
Holy shit I've done a lot of groundwork for this game. And I've got a lot more groundwork to do before this thing leaves alpha.
Let's start with the basics, the game was rewritten from the ground up to mimic the last project which shouldn't have taken long but with the inclusion of walls to keep troops inbounds it got a little tricky. "lanes" were also added to makes the battlefield more spread out and to make future maps more interesting. Scouting troops have been expanded upon by having crates spawn throughout the map, and upon being captured provide permanent buffs to your army. Lots of work went into making the A.I on par with the player and a lot more work needs to be made to give the player the information that the AI already has.
Overall, the project is running VERY smoothly and needs some ironing out and some QOL stuff (like less floaty controls) to leave its alpha state and onto beta where i can start rapid firing new features (but not before I clean up the damn code).
